Top performers don’t practice on prospects
Top performers don’t practice on prospects. They practice on AI.
Many reps do it.
Some use the first few calls of the day to “warm up.” Then burn qualified leads to find our rhythm.
That used to be normal. It isn’t anymore.
Practicing on real prospects is expensive. And often painful. And in 2026, unnecessary.
The best reps are building a 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻.
Not “act like a VP of Finance.” That produces generic role play.
A real Digital Twin is grounded in evidence.
G2 reviews from competitors. Anonymized call transcripts from real deals. The objections you hear every week.
Then you ask the AI to surface patterns.
How does this buyer talk? Where do they hesitate? What makes them lean in?
Once the persona is grounded, stop asking: “Is this email good?”
AI will always say yes.
Instead, give it anchors to judge you against.
Does this sound complex and risky? Or does it solve their problem immediately?
Now you get rejected by the simulation. Not the prospect.
Reps who build this habit don’t just close more. They ramp faster.
They test messaging without burning pipeline. They get sharp before the first live call.
Your first call of the day shouldn’t be practice. It should be ready.
